iPhone 4, HTC Sensation sau Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc. au fost rivalii celebrului telefon „Samsung Galaxy S II” insa fara nici o sansa la „Gadget Awards 2011” (Unul dintre cele mai populare site-uri de IT si tehnologie din Marea Britanie. Aceast gala se organizeaza anual si se voteaza cele mai tari gadgeturi, aplicatii sau personalitati din domeniul IT).
Nenea goagãl a fost desemnat brandul anului, devansand de aceasta data facebook si apple. Surpriza mare a fost „Blackberry Bold 9780” care a fost desemnat cel mai bun gadget pentru job, bineinteles ca in aceasta categorie au fost nominalizate si celebrele gadget-uri iPhone 4 si iPad 2.
